By far the best place I've stayed in the UK

I've stayed at over two dozen places in the UK, and this was the best. Loads of hot water. Beds that were comfortable (much more comfortable than any of the best hotels). Heating throughout the house that works. Response times of 5 minutes to any questions I had. Great location. Loved it!

Accessibility & Family Features

  • Wheelchair Friendly: Includes a ground-floor bedroom and a dedicated walk-in wet room.

  • Family Ready: Highchair, travel cot, and safety gates are provided as standard.

  • Dog Friendly: Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome (please enquire). Bedding, bowls, towels, and a first aid kit for pets are provided.

Ground Floor

  • Lounge: Cosy and spacious with a wood-burning stove and a dining area for 6 in a bay window. Patio doors lead directly to the garden.

  • Bedroom 1: Flexible setup (Twin or Super King), built-in wardrobes, and hairdryer.

  • Bathrooms: A good-sized shower room plus a separate walk-in wet room/drying room in the utility area.

  • Kitchen & Utility: Fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances; utility room features a washing machine, tumble dryer, and clothes pulley.

  • Bedrooms 2 & 3: Two spacious rooms with flexible zip-and-link beds (Twin or Super King) and built-in storage.

  • Secure Garden: Fully fenced (lowest point 1.4m) with driveway gates for safety.

To keep the cottage pristine for all guests, we kindly ask:

  1. Enquire first: Please let us know if you're bringing up to 2 dogs.

  2. No Solo Dogs: Pets must not be left alone in the cottage (crates are available if needed).

  3. Clean Paws: Use the utility wet room to dry dogs before they enter the main house.

  4. Garden Etiquette: Please pick up all dog mess from the garden and surrounding areas.
